Do You Want a Kiss at the End of a First Date?
If your date is going really well, should he go in for the kiss, or more?

It’s such a strange moment when you know a guy’s going in for the kiss. Maybe there’s a lull in the conversation or his eyes give his intentions away, but you know it’s coming… and you only have a few seconds to prepare.
Guess your first date is going pretty well!
Sometimes, a goodnight kiss can be just what the both of you need to confirm the night was a success. But, do we all want to be kissed, or will just a hug do?

Men’s Health recently surveyed 200 women on this topic and published the results in their March 2011 issue. Here’s what they found women want at the end of a good first date:
-52 percent of responders want “a single kiss”
-23 percent want “a peck on the cheek”
-15 percent prefer a hug
-8 percent want to make out
-2 percent want to take it even further
According to us, there’s no universal “right” way for a guy to end a first date. No wonder men get so confused!
So, do you consider it a dealbreaker if he goes in for the kiss when you just want a hug? And, what if he gives you a peck on the cheek when you were looking for something more?
I know some dates have left a bad taste in my mouth when they didn’t end the way I’d expected — like the time a guy slobbered all over my face after we had just spent a romantic dinner together. Or when I thought the date had gone really well, and then the guy just said, “Ok, bye!” and walked away. Um, alrighty then!
Most times, I try to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Nerves are running high, so I’m not going to blame him for a goodnight-kiss-gone-wrong. He just better not do it the second time around.
But, I’m curious to know what you Bettys think: how would your ideal first date end? And if a guy goes too far, or not far enough, is that a dealbreaker?
